What I Do
Your first dance, vals, or surprise moment deserves the perfect soundtrack. But most songs aren't quite right; they're too long, the intro drags, or you want to combine two meaningful songs into one seamless track. That's where custom song editing comes in.
Whether you need a shorter first dance, a father-daughter mashup that transitions from English to Spanish, or a multi-song choreography mix for your quinceañera vals, I create professional custom edits that match your exact vision and timing.
SAMPLE OF MY WORK
Sample 1: Basic Song Edit ($75)
The client's request: Skip the slower drum section that starts around 1:45 and jump directly to the vocal ending at 2:22. The song had an unexpected downtempo section that broke the energy of their first dance.
What I did: Made a seamless cut removing 37 seconds of the downtempo section, matching the phrasing and tempo on both sides of the edit. The transition is clean enough that listeners don't notice the edit was made.

Sample 2: Two-Song Transition ($150)
The Ask: A father-daughter dance combining "Die With a Smile" by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars with the salsa version from the Super Bowl performance. The father specifically wanted to end the track before Bad Bunny's section came in, giving the family the salsa energy without extending into that guest verse.
The Solution: A seamless transition from the pop original (156 BPM) into the salsa version (101 BPM), timed so Bruno Mars completes his verse before the salsa takes over. The track ends with a long reverb decay right before Bad Bunny would enter, creating a natural conclusion that respects the father's request while still delivering the full emotional arc.

Sample 3: Choreography Mix ($300-400)
The Ask: A four-song first dance mix for a wedding couple who had already attempted the edit themselves and needed a professional to clean it up. Specific requests included: remove an inappropriate lyric at 0:25, create a smoother transition at 0:49, add a creative transition at 1:47, speed up the slow intro on the final song "Loco," and finish with a soft ending.
The Solution: Built a 2:32 continuous edit that navigates four songs with tempo shifts ranging from 129 BPM down to 69 BPM and back up. Each transition uses different techniques (smooth crossfade, tempo-matched buildup, energy shift) to keep the mix feeling like one continuous piece rather than four separate songs. The problematic lyric was cleanly removed, the "Loco" intro was tightened, and a soft ending was crafted through multiple revision rounds. Final client response: "PERFECT!"
